A studio portrait of an unidentified white woman wearing a dark bow on the top of her head, a high-collar with a large bow at her throat with a brooch in the center, a dark double-breasted blouse with long puffy sleeves that end in cuffs, and a dark, full-length skirt. She holds a dark folded parasol, tip down to the floor, in her right hand and a light colored expanded fan, held low, in her left hand. She stands on a fur rug with a painted backdrop of an outdoor scene behind her. Below the photograph is printed, "J.A. Hacker, Tipton, Kans."
