Photographic montage of a retail shop and professional work scenarios of African American women at a department store with an office behind the counters. The bottom left corner photo show three women at a counter wearing hats. The photograph along the top shows two African American men shopping on one side of the counter as the African American personnel help them look at the goods. A sign partially out of the photograph and blurred on the back wall partially states, "Shop. Dickies. Blouses. Lingerie. Alterations." The photograph on the bottom right corner shows a couple shopping for jewelry on one side of the counter and two shop personnel helping them. The center photograph shows the two personnel women sitting on either side of a desk behind the retail counters. One woman is on the phone and taking notes. The other woman is typing.
