Twelve African American men, Board of Bishops of the AME Zions, St. Louis, Missouri, stand on steps in front of doors to a building in Washington D.C. while attending the A.M.E. Zion General Conference held in the John Wesley A.M.E. Zion church at Fourteenth and Corcoran streets.
