A studio portrait of an unidentified African American man [possibly U.G. Margan] standing with the finger of his left hand curled around his suit jacket's button placard. The top button is buttoned just below a bow tie. He also wears a buttoned vest and striped pants. Printed below the photograph, "C.H. Wareham, 209 Market Street, Fort Scott, Kan. Negatives Reserved for Future Orders."
